As part of an educational and reward trip, the students of the "Mehmed Fatih" Medresa who finished the previous school year with an average grade of 5,00 stayed in Sarajevo in recent days, where an official visit to the Gazi Husrev-beg Medresa was organized.

The Gazi Husrev-beg Medresa, founded in 1537, is the oldest Islamic educational institution in the Balkans with a continuous operation. Over almost five centuries of existence, it has produced numerous generations of students, among whom are many graduates from the area of Montenegro, who have left a significant mark on the religious, educational, and social life of their communities.
During the visit, students toured the boys' and the recently renovated girls' departments of the Gazi Husrev-beg Medresa, attended classes, and familiarized themselves with the organization of educational and teaching work at this esteemed institution. Encounters with students and teachers provided opportunities for experience sharing, socializing, and the forging of new friendships.
A special value of the visit was the direct acquaintance with the rich tradition of the Gazi Husrev-beg Medresa, as well as the strengthening of educational, spiritual, and cultural ties that for generations have connected these two institutions. At the same time, the stay in Sarajevo was an opportunity to reward the effort and achievements of the best students of the "Mehmed Fatih" Medresa and to further encourage their academic and personal development.

The "Mehmed Fatih" Medresa expresses sincere gratitude to the director of the Gazi Husrev-beg Medresa, Dževad ef. Pleh, his associates, and employees for the warm reception, exceptional hospitality, and friendly support, with the conviction that this meeting will contribute to the further development and improvement of cooperation between the two medresas.
